AVENUE ART DAYS 2019

Avenue Art Days is a Douglas Design District initiative aimed at harnessing young, creative talent in Wichita to improve the aesthetic of Douglas Avenue and surrounding areas. From park benches to trash cans, light poles and crosswalks, even private property… Avenue Art Days is bringing color and giving a voice to artists and designers in Wichita.
WICHITA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA PRESENTS “BACH DOUBLE + BRUCKNER 6”

Celebrate culture and learning with free admission to participating museums during Smithsonian Magazine’s
Smithsonian Museum Day. This year, Wichita’s Museum of World Treasures, Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical
Museum and Great Plains Nature Center (always free) are participating.
OPEN STREETS ICT 2019

Location: Downtown Wichita, Wichita, KS 67202
Open Streets ICT is back in September for its 3rd annual event in Wichita. This free community-building event
opens Wichita’s iconic Douglas Ave. to fun for all. Vehicle traffic will be closed off and the street open (from
College Hill to Historic Delano) for biking, walking, running, dancing, yoga, and more.
