What a weekend!!
Vegas was absolutely amazing!
We sang, danced, drank, walked, and everything that comes with being in Vegas.
Our iHeartRadio Music Festival was an impeccable 2 nights.
Friday night kicked off with Fleetwood Mac, then Childish Gambino, Jack White, Rae Sremmurd, Panic! At The Disco, Jason Aldean, and Mariah Carey followed. Kygo closed out the night with a high energy set!
Sam Smith was on the lineup for Friday, but had to cancel due to vocal issues. He's since posted on social media saying he was checked out by a Dr and everything will be ok, but he has to rest up this week before his Asia tour. Get better, Sam!
Saturday night the high energy continued with Justin Timberlake, Carrie Underwood, Shawn Mendes, Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Imagine Dragons and Logic closed out the night with a special appearance from Ryan Tedder of One Republic.
Our first stop once we landed in Vegas on Thursday was In-N-Out burger, of course! Then we walked down the old part of Vegas, Freemont Street, where we stopped in the Golden Nugget and saw the largest gold nugget in the world! We wanted to ride the zip line down Freemont St, but the next available booking wasn't until 12:30am and we were so tired.
On Friday, we got sushi burritos (which were amazing, see photos below), walked through some of the big malls, and hung out by the hotel pool. Then we got ready for night one of the festival! The energy night was 1 was huge! Every act brought their A game and really gave their all. Rae Sremmurd and Panic! At The Disco were my favorite at night one. After the festival, we went to the Taco Bell Cantina where they have the regular Taco Bell menu, but they also serve frozen alcoholic drinks, which were amazing!
On Saturady, we slept in and then went to Shack Shake for lunch. We were pretty lazy that day after the long day and night Friday. So, after lunch we just hung out and chilled by the pool before getting ready for the show night 2. My favorite act from Saturday night was probably Imagine Dragons, but Kelly Clarkson, Shawn Mendes, and Justin Timberlake were amazing, as well!
Then, Sunday morning we had an early flight back to the ICT.
It was a very busy, long weekend, but it was so much fun!
