GET LIT: AN ELECTRIFYING COSTUME CONTEST

Your $40 Get Lit Costume Contest pass includes VIP event with back of stage exclusive bar and restroom access, and front of house view for the Flaming Lips concert, creative costume consultation by the stylists at B. Young Salon at Harvester Arts on Final Friday and a chance to win an original screen print by James Marshall (Dalek), an art makeover and photo session with performance art team Linnebur & Miller, Flaming Lips meet & greet passes and other exceptional prizes.
Don’t be stingy with the glitter. Illuminated costumes are encouraged.
CONTEST CATEGORIES:
1. Hail to The Flaming Lips Show the Flaming Lips you’re their biggest fan!
2. The Mighty Unicorn and His Friends Glitter and glow as your mythical spirit animal!
3. Mother Nature's Garden Bunnies and mushrooms and trees and rainbows and flowers and sunshine, oh my!
This event includes the following:* A creative consultation and drop-in costume workshop hosted by Harvester Arts with professional stylists from B.Young Salon. 6:30-9 p.m., Friday, May 26 at Harvester Arts, 215 N. Washington
*All contestants must participate in Harvester Art’s entry in the Safelite AutoGlass Sundown Parade. Riverfest Artist-in-Residence James Marshall (Dalek) will consult with Harvester’s judges to select a winner in each category as well as a Grand Prize Winner.
