Following a successful tour last fall, Grammy Award-winning rock band Paramore has announced a 2018 North American summer tour. Foster the People will join Paramore on the 26-city “After Laughter Summer Tour (Tour 5),” which stops at Starlight Theatre on Saturday, July 7.
The 2018 summer amphitheater and arena tour is in celebration of their acclaimed fifth studio album After Laughter, which was released last May. The album hit No. 1 on Billboard’s U.S. Top Alternative Albums chart and the U.S. Top Rock Albums chart. With hit singles including “Hard Times,” “Told You So,” “Fake Happy” and “Rose-Colored Boy,” After Laughter made its way onto Billboard, NME, NPR and Rolling Stone’s Best Album of the Year lists.
Foster The People most recently wrapped up a world tour in support of their third studio album, Sacred Hearts Club. They also played a number of summer and fall festivals in 2017 including Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.
