Slipknot's Sid Wilson was hospitalized on Friday (August 23) after sustaining "serious burns" in an accident. The DJ shared a video from the hospital on Instagram explaining what happened. "Hi everybody. I had an explosion in my face. I’m okay, I’m gonna be okay, but I did have some serious burns to my face and my arms. I’m singed everywhere. Eyebrows are singed. My mouth is blistered. My arms pretty bad. Both of my arms," he said in the video while nurses tend to his injuries.

Wilson's partner, Kelly Osbourne, also shared an update on her Instagram story, saying: “This is why you don’t f**k with burn piles. He literally set himself on fire and exploded everything.” The couple share a son named Sidney, who can be heard in the background.

Wilson has since gone home and shared more Instagram updates, assuring he's "on the mend thanks to nurse Kelly Osbourne."

Slipknot also shared a statement about his injury, revealing he was expected to continue touring with the band during their 25th anniversary trek. “Our brother Sid Wilson was in an accident today and sustained burns across his body. He’s recovering with his family and will still join us on stage at Rocklahoma next weekend. He thanks everyone for the well wishes, and will see you all soon.”
